Presentation

The Corpus journal is devoted to corpus linguistics in all its theoretical, epistemological, and methodological dimensions, whatever the discipline or field of geo-linguistic application. It aims to develop reflection on the role of samples in contemporary linguistic practices and to build up a reflexive analysis of the way samples are constituted as well as their tools of exploitation. It thus tries to make explicit and to evaluate the heuristic processes controlling the collection and structuring of empirical data as well as the appearance and validation of linguistic hypotheses.
