Submitting a manuscript (abridged version)

The CORPUS journal is a peer-reviewed jounal and referees will be looking at a paper with regard to its originality, significance, academic rigour, and presentation of the argument.

All editorial correspondence should be addressed to the Editor:

Damon Mayaffre
BCL, CNRS, Université Nice – Sophia Antipolis
Email: mayaffre@unice.fr

Guidelines for submissions

Title, Abstract, Key words

Every submission must contain a self-contained abstract and a short list of key words (between 3 and 6). Title, abstract and key words are to be in French and English. If not written by a native speaker, it is strongly advised to have the paper checked by a native speaker. If the title is longer than 50 characters, a short title should be given.

Layout

Authors should submit their manuscript in electronic form (saved as a Word document). In case of complex figures, please send also a PDF document.

The tapuscript should be 13 pt exactly spaced, font 11 pt Times New Roman with as little formatting as possible.

The page should be set up as to get a text the following size 100mm x 180mm exactly (including header and footer). This can be obtained by setting the margins as follows:

Top = 6.5 cm exactly,

Bottom = 5.2 cm exactly,

Left = 5.5 cm,

Right = 5.5 cm,

Header = 5.4 cm,

Footer = 4.25 cm.

An important requirement is that footnotes should be at the foot of the page and must be consecutively numbered from 1 to n.

Once the paper is accepted, a stylesheet will be sent to the authors. You can either use the stylesheet, or just type the plain text, which will be formatted by the publisher.

Figures and plates

Figures, illustrations and tables must be adapted to the size of the page (with no overlap onto the margins).

When you first submit your manuscript please include figures and plates in the text and only submit one document. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, figures and plates should be submitted as reproducible originals in a separate file.

References

References in the text should follow the style (Brown 1989: 224-256). The references section should list all references cited in the main text. References should be listed (1) alphabetically and (2) chronologically in the case of more than one publication by an author.

Please note that by submiting a manuscript, you automatically accept your paper, if accepted, will be made available online.
